I'll answer these questions from my buddy Ic'rus, and if you want, leave a comment saying you want me to ask you five questions. Then you do like I did here, see? That's how it works.

-of all the rp systems you know of, which worlds are the most fun to GM in? or to play in?

Shadowrun. Yes, yes, it's cyberpunk with a fantasy element and has all of these cool whizbang gadgets and magical stuff to mess around in. At it's core, though, it's an RPG version of those old Steve McQueen and Michael Caine heist movies where clever criminals come up with brilliant schemes and try to work the system for cash and prizes. It's Gibson, Tolkien, and The Italian Job. It lets me work out the majority of my fantasies all at once.

-when did you first start learning to play gee-tarr?

My dad bought me my first guitar when I was 11. I'm actually a little disappointed that I've been playing for 13 years and I'm not quite where I feel I should be musically. I don't think I'll ever stop practicing.

-do you still have that dapper hat you once used for icons?

No, I don't. I wore it out once when I was at a party, and my friend's seven year old daughter was there. She liked it, so I let her wear it. She looked really cute so in it I gave it to her. Now she has a derby hat that she never wears, but maybe one day she'll appreciate the dapperosity of that hat. This is the legacy I hope to leave for the future.

-since you and kat both seem to have excessively rediculous car destruction stories, do you think that if you guys have a kid they'll just cause cars to burst into flame by looking at them?

It's entirely possible. There are only two real possibilities. The first is that we have a child who destroys cars just by looking at them. That would be awesome. I'd start taking them to those monster truck rallies where cars are destroy by the dozen and start putting them on the circuit. Imagine the scene as lights dim at the arena, and a spotlight focuses on a small, solitary figure in the center. A young, fair-haired child raises its eyes to a captive audience. Suddenly there is a crash! Cars lined up around the child burst into flames as two unmanned motorcycles are launched from ramps over head! The motorcycles catch fire as they reach the apex of their trajectory and crash into the ground. The crowd takes a moment to let the show sink in, then burst into thunderous applause. I will be so fucking rich.

Or, the opposite happens and the child will never have a car problem in their life. I'll never have to worry about them getting into an accident or anything like that, so I can rest easy in that knowledge. Either way, it's win-win for me.

-where, above all else, would you think a camping weekend would be perfect for?

I tend to camp in the densely wooded mid-atlantic area. I've camped all over Maryland, Pennsylvania, and both Virginias. It's awesome, and beautiful, and I love the Chesapeake watershed and all, but just once I'd like to camp in the desert. Mostly, I want to see how well I'd do out there. I watch Survivorman and Man Vs. Wild, and all that, and every desert area they visit looks like a lot of fun. There was an episode of Man Vs. Wild where Bear (how fucking manly is that name? Bear Gryllis kicks ass.) was travelling through the desert, and came across this desert canyon and he explored that for a bit. He spent some time holed up in a cave for a while. I want to do something like that.

Also, deserts aren't prone to forest fires. Three camping trips ago I was in the middle of a forest fire, and had to help people down a burning mountain. That wasn't very fun.
