Thinking too much about Terminator.

Did anyone think that maybe sending all of these robots back to the past to tear each other apart and never go back to the future helped speed up the creation of artificial intelligence, and ultimately skynet?

I mean, OK, the two Terminators in T2 were melted down. I can buy that their remains wouldn't have been found. But, the very first terminator? He was crushed. Parts of him were still intact. Call me crazy, but maybe skynet was created due to the US government getting its hands on a terminator unit and going "Holy crap, this is amazing stuff!" and then reverse engineering it. Maybe one of those parts had some pieces of code that they could recover and use as the basis for artificial intelligence.

I know it was Skynet that sent the first terminator to kill Sarah Connor, so the folly doesn't lie on John. But, if the Terminator's presence in the past leads to the rise of skynet, John could have killed two birds with one stone simply by sending someone back in time to stop Skynet from sending a robot back in time.

My head is hurting now.

Also, Summer Glau is hot, and makes me laugh when she plays a Terminator. Diamonds are a girl's best friend indeed.

Better Living Through Black Magic

I'm starting an advice column. But not as me. You see, I'm boring. I can't fix your problems because I've got too many of my own. I need to make a character for this kind of thing. And that character needs to be someone capable, and arrogant enough to think he's got all the answers. More than arrogant, he needs to be an asshole. No, more than an asshole. He needs to be evil.

His name is Liam Whateley. He is a dark magician with only evil in his heart. Evil, and possibly good advice that he will provide out of the badness of his heart so that he may corrupt you and bring back the demon he has sworn to ressurect. He is now accepting questions for a column I like to call "Better Living Through Black Magic". Some of you may be familiar with him. Well, he's back. True evil always comes back.

Leave your questions in the comments of this post, and he will reply sometime next week.
