For Otakon, I'm actually going to cosplay this year.
I will be a guard from Metal Gear Solid. I need to find a way to make a prop gun. The wirework for a paper mache gun went horribly, so it probably will be made of cardboard. This vexes me because I have an extremely realistic airsoft AK-101 that can be made safe for prop use as easily as taking out the battery. But this will not fly with con staff. However, I've got the clothes already (would you believe I already had them?) They're NATO pattern instead of Warsaw Pact, but nobody will notice unless I find a clone of myself.
Also, one unlucky Snake cosplayer will get a packet of Blueberry Death. May God have mercy on his soul...
