I am posting from the internets at my new house for the first time. Hooray.  It is late and I can't sleep. This might have something to do with the internet. I don't know. But now I can finally be around on the internet, watch TV and play FFXI. That, some pizza and beer and some time with Kat is really all I need to be a happy camper. Now that all those requirements have been filled, I'm set.

Good for me. I'm back, internet.

I'll get you a worldpass to Lakshmi once my stacks of crystals sell (I've been spending a lot of gil lately on my chocobo). sweeeet. cinne is still cinne, although after several bad run-ins with people who drove me crazy on diablos, he's calmed down a bit. i was going to go thf/corsair but i didn't know if that would even be a logical combo. naturally for the start i'd go thf/war. i tried thf/rng and oh god i just wanted to blow my head off leveling rng.

COR/THF would be an interesting combo. When COR is subbed, you can only use one of its rolls at a time. The rolls are a lot like Bard's songs, so everyone wants as many as possible up at the same time. COR mainly pull either DD/Support duties or full support duties when they sub /WHM (I call these people Captain Featherswords). I think subbing THF and having them pull, then come in to melee and throw up their rolls whenever possible isn't too bad of an idea. Plus, ye get more booty with THF. There are some people trying it out, but I haven't heard their results much. Most people sub RNG, NIN, or WHM. But the stupid thing about FFXI is that people won't look beyond making any other subs work and anything that isn't those subs are 73H 91MP.

Generally, the core of the group I run with is pretty relaxed about what people sub. There might be one or two idiots who actually care, but it doesn't matter. Now that I have a position of authority I can put morons in their place without worrying which sackholder they're friends with. Sub what you want. I find that anyone who cares about that thing in a ROLEPLAY linkshell should have their pearl launched at them from a potato gun.

yeah that was one of the big things that basicly threw me on diablos. i had the problem of A) people claiming they'd help me level and then never doing it or doing it poorly B) people refusing to listen to me because i was a low level despite the fact that i knew where shit spawned in areas since i was always pulling and C) everyone murrring at me to sub certain classes.

SIGH.

still need to find an external number pad, or a location that sells one. but i could probably get to like level 5 without it. it's not like the early levels are much work. or work with others, for that matter.

i tried to look up harbl but couldn't find you. i'm cinnemalt as always. the weather's been shitty as hell here so i haven't had a chance to go exploring for a number pad...i might just fucking order one online and have it shipped, honestly.

it's saying the world pass number is too short to be valid. that is recockulous. i spelled lakshmi right i am sure.
