Artists: Do you want money?

Okay. So tomorrow (actually today?) I'm moving into a new place. These walls will be completely white. That's not good, man. These walls gotta have ART! Now, it occured to me that I have a lot of artists on my LJ friend's list. This would be a good place to start, and I know you guys are good because I see your stuff all the damn time and still find it pretty enough to keep looking. So if you do art and don't think I'm too much of an asshole that you wouldn't do a commission for me, then contact me.

The general idea that I want to go with is literature and mythology. I want to get some art of my favorite moments in my favorite myths and literature. I have a few ideas of things that I would like. They are:

Holden Caulfield in a rye patch (Catcher in the Rye)

Vladimir and Estragon sitting near a tree (Waiting for Godot)

Billy Pilgrim and Montana Wildhack in the Tralfamadorian zoo (Slaughterhouse Five)

Alex's conversation with Pete (A Clockwork Orange)

The capture of Loki (Norse mythology)

Lot's wife turning to salt (Judeo-Christian mythology)

Also, If you have an idea that you'd like to do, by all means tell me. I'm open to anything.
