Holy shit, the new Nine Inch Nails album is the best one since The Downward Spiral.
The story behind the concept is damn good, too. I've been reading about the ARG done with the promotion. I wish I had kept up with it then.
Also, the new VNV Nation album is mediocre at best. It doesn't have the same kick VNV Nation used to have. I'm not even talking about the anger, I'm talking about the music itself. It sounds kind of half-assed now, like their hearts aren't as into making you get off your ass as they used to be.
Industrial music's been weird these last few years. There have been a lot of changes. Some for the better, and some for the worse. The music's become much more personal, and now you can actually listen to songs that don't include lots of movie samples and men screaming about murder. However, if I hear one more god damn song about angels, I'm going to stomp someone's fucking head.
