I bought six pounds of honey to make mead with. It is supposedly organic (which I'm assuming means they didn't fertilize the flowers surrounding the beehive, because I can't imagine a process for fertilizing bees) honey made by allegedly killer bees that may or may not have come from Brazil.

All I need now is a clean bucket, some good wine yeast, and a fermentation lock. And about six months time. I hear there's a homebrew store in Frederick, and one in Columbia. I'll have to pay those a visit so I can eventually pick up a bottler and some bottles. If the mead is any good I'll have an endless supply of awesome boozahols and something cool to give out to people as small gifts. I'm going to see about making my own labels and having my own "brand", though not for sale. I'm thinking "Lokasenna" is a good name for a brand of mead.

I found a recipe for ancient Egyptian beer that I want to try, too. I'll call that "Nyarlathotep".
