The worst thing about composing music is that sometimes you write a song that is infectiously catchy and can never get you out of your head. If haunts your brain like ancient cities with non-euclidian architecture and drives you fish-fuckingly insane.
What's even fucking worse is that I was working on a song, and had a good lead up for some cool EBM song, then as I was loading up Padawan I randomized it and it spat out a great sound that I'll never be able to recreate. However, it doesn't fit with the EBM style, and the melody I came up with it is really something I'm proud of. But it's not the EBM style song I wanted to make. I'm really delighted by this, because it's cool to go to make one thing and have it evolve into something else. I just wanted to make something different, is all.
It is still insanely catchy. I'll make an EBM song some other time. For now, though, this is like.. catchier than Brazillian pop music.
