Operation: Mindcrime 2 is not worth the money. The first album was amazing, with complex music, three dimensional characters, and themes that I could relate to. With Operation: Mindcrime 2, it seems like Queensryche was trying to cash in on the legend. The album seems entirely based on the original's glory, and doesn't seek to improve on it at all. The premise makes sense, but the album loses it. The music isn't as good, either. It occured to me, that as much as I admire bards, I could do better. Yes, I have been working on Solid Snake Superstar, but I'm feeling that it should be put on hold, or handed off to people more willing. I still want to be involved with it, but I've got something original to do. I've decided to write a concept album. I'm not sure what about yet, but it will be something entirely me.
