Borrowed The Watchmen from Kat. Talking like Rorschach now.

A little shocked and amused at the attitudes of the heroes. Loved that "Anti-War protests" was listed as one of society's ills.

More shocked that The Comedian and I share similar views about life. Not a psychopath about it like he is.

I don't remember if I told you this or not, but when I first read Watchmen, I read it alongside my friend Ben. We only allowed ourselves to read one chapter at a time so that we could discuss it the next day and talk about what we thought was going to happen next and stuff like that. It made it a lot more suspenseful to not be able to just read straight through and it was awesome to have someone to bounce theories off of.

Pie hasn't read it yet. I think the plan is that I'm going to see the movie without her and then I'll tell her whether she should see the movie first so she can get the full movie experience of not knowing what's going to happen or if she should read the book first because the movie just doesn't live up :p

*is a crazy person*

If being enthusiastic about something you enjoy is crazy then throw me in the looney bin, too.
